I started writing a MacOS utility today and was, of course, fantasizing about what it would look like when it was done and how to distribute it if I do get it finished at some future date. One thing was obvious: as an aspiring programmer, I would rather sit and stare at my screen than try to sell my product, so it would be better if some more established company were to become involved. Staz came to mind. So Staz, are you ever prepared to provide distribution services for other people's software, perhaps even under the Staz name? My case is hypothetical right now, but I'm sure there are people on the list who have useful potential commercialware kicking around that just might make a few bucks if it had good distribution. (I imagine there are established ways of agreeing on royalties, etc.) It might not take long for the residuals from a number of smaller programs to add up, while at the same time building the Staz name. ____________ wave (Toronto, Canada) Much better at "OOPS!" programming than OOP programming.
