Hi,
I have a PICT (thousands of colors) that i would like to
display in a picture field with dithering when the screen
is set to 256 colors. Is it possible ?
If not, can i _dither_ it offscreen and then put it back in
the picture field ???
I absolutely need it to be placed into a picture field.
I'm very confused about it, any suggestions ?
BTW: When a picture is compressed with jpeg, it looks perfect in any screen
depth.
But i can't use jpeg compression because it is too slow to draw in a
picture field.
