Thank you very much David.

I greatly appreciate the temp file folder and memory tips that everyone has
supplied me with.

If anyone needs it, I am working on a quickie include file for creating and
servicing  PICT thumbs on PICT background sliders using copybits for
smoothness.

All you will need to do is spec the resource ID's and the orientation,
location and slide limits, the rest will be easy (I hope).
Probably a while away still, other stuff to do is in the way right now.
Will post when ready.
