of <whatever>.math.u-psud.fr:

PLEASE
 foreward me all such failure notices along with your
original mail to at least two of the following
addresses.  You will only be doing what I always have 
done in receiving our precious digests at two addresses.
*Parallellism* is the universal antidote, and even at that
Herbie G had to slip me one missing digest this month...

We have had record solar winds and 100mph terrestrial winds in
the last few weeks; internet failures go mostly unreported.
