Actually, when the solar wind blows hard enough to knock your hat off, shut
the computers down and go outside (Try it! It is often non-fatal!) to see
the Northern (or Southern - is there such a thing? They'll be polarized the
other way, of course.) Lights. They have been nothing short of spectacular
here at 42°N for over a week.
