Dear list members,

for those of you who need FB^3 routines that store and
recall preferences from a dedicated resource file in the
preferences folder, I just uploaded to the dropbox
(PreferencesFile 1.0b3.sit) some FB^3 code and a
toolbox-compiled mini demo app that I ported from a
appealing C-example provided by

The code consists of the preferences core (3 FNs) and an
appearance dialog that lets you test the functioning of the
preferences section.
The demo creates the preferences file "* PF Preferences *"
in the preferences folder of your startup volume. It
contains 3 resources: 'Pref', 'alis' and 'STR ' (Find out
what they do/mean :-))
(Demo tested under OS 7.5.5 only.)
