- Freeze on Mac OS 8.6 fixed with Robert Covington's indispensable help.
- Speed improvement in Carbon.
- Initial misbehavior of the little arrows corrected.
- Occasional double spaces squashed.
- Mangled text in checkbox under OS X corrected.
- Stripped background in the preview area corrected in OS X.
- Other cosmetic changes for Aqua again.

Programming notes:
During the tracking of a nasty bug popping up on Mac OS 8.6, I ended
up with a major rewrite of the code. While it was somewhat a pain,
incidentally I can see now a few benefits: the project is better
organized and the app seems to work more smoothly under OS X. I hope I
have not introduced new bugs with those important changes.
