I have a device that uses an ethernet port to control it. It also has a
serial port. They both share the same command protocol. Does anyone have an
idea as to where I can get info on opening the ethernet port with TCP/IP and
sending and receiving data to it? It is on a closed network and can be a
crude. I know the hardware IP address, but it would be nice to read it as an
option.
