Dear Bruce Moore,

your question is important.

Some time ago I've reported my experience with Carbon in
connection with my "CustomChoose"-Demo (should still be in
the DropBox).

Fact is:
A Carbon compiled program can behave differently under
OSX-native, OSX-Classic, and OS 9.x.x.

Consequently, you should test and perhaps modify your code
under all three OSs -- if you or others wish to run it under
those three. (Even after spending about 2 months, I couldn't
remove all glitches from "CustomChoose"-Demo under the three
OSs. It's really tedious. That's why I presently stopped
developing under Carbon.)

Actually, my observation is only important if you distribute
or sell your programs to others.

Best,

Herbie
