Should I program in the classic environment of OS > X or is it better to convert to carbon in OS 9? I am finding little differences, as Johnathan noted. The main reason for starting up X is to check your buttons. I think you will find that text takes up more room in an Aqua button and you will need to enlarge them in PG. I had standardized all my buttons to a width of 60 and am settling on 68 for X. I find I do my of my big changes in 9 and the use Classic to touch up in X. The STAZ site has some good articles on buttons and the like for Aqua. -- Best Wishes, George mailto: gbeckman@... http://www.pggp.com
