My copy of Vantage still works 99% with OS 8. It doesn't print or support 
drag and drop! But I never used the print functions... It is all the 
other little things it does. If I need to print I copy to Simpletext etc.

What I would like to know, since it has no 32K limit, is how Vantage is 
so fast on opening, searching, stripping line feeds etc compared to a 
real WP. It's truly embarassingly fast compared with some of my code, 
which is faster than MSW :-)

What happens to these 'dead programs'? When do they go out of copyright 
or be give-awayable?
