Hans, WE can not duplicate your G3 error, so we can't confirm your bug report. Would you please try to run the PG terminal program to see if it properly opens and closes the port? If you still have problems, you can try using the "slam/dunk serial port" routines from Ross and company. I'd be happy to post it if necessary.
