Show two implementations--one in C, the other in FB--of the same function. (It's only fair, of course, to also show the contents of all the header files that would be necessary in C and which FB dispenses with.) If this function involved, say, an FB "BUTTON" or "WINDOW" command--something that can only be done via a series of obscure Toolbox calls in C--the impact would be even greater. And lest the experienced Mac programmer think that FB's ease of use would prevent him/her from accessing the "guts" of the Mac, show another more esoteric example--preferably something that _can't_ be done _at_all_ in other popular dialects of BASIC. Hmmm...now, if Staz could just get a mailing list of Metroworks customers... - Rick
