The PC is running through the Mac bus and ports through a Mac control panel and other INITs. I assume that the later models will work in a similar manner. It is possible to reboot the PC without fiddling with the Mac side. Also be aware that a Mac only has a couple of ports and these can be in high demand when using both platforms. For example, only one platform can see the modem port at a time. I currently print via that same port as the Mac is on localtalk. I have to do some switching (Manual switch was my solution) to make it all work. Other than these inconveniences, I am very pleased. The clipboard works great between platforms. Being able to open a PC drive and move things to a Mac drive is wonderful. I also have several "containers" on a side drive. I can switch in the Mac-PC control panel and boot the PC in 3.1 or 95. I am just all a tremble to get '98. (snore) The PC has no clue which drive from which it is being booted. The really odd part is watching the Super Drive get dumb when you switch to PC. Shove in a disk, and nothing happens until you "press any key". I hope this helps, George
