All right, I give up. Is there any way to extract a region (for clipping or
whatever) out of a PICT? I thought I could do it by using
    FN BITMAPTOREGION(rgnhndl&,bitmaphndl&)
     ' (in that order--honestly, who makes these things up???)
in conjunction with the usual resource-fetching and gWorld-drawing routines,
but nothing happens. No errors reported, but no region either. (For close
readers--this is what I was _looking_ for in IM:Imaging when I found
UPDATEGWORLD.) Can it be done?
