I seldom use gWorlds, (prefacing so I don't get slammed) but I think you
would draw the picture into a gWorld use CALMASK to create the bitmap
required for BITMAPTOREGION. You could then do your PTINRGN queries or
calculate region differences.

Sorry, no, _that_ I know how to do & have been doing all along (I don't
bother
with regions, just hold on to right & bottom and use them for responding
to
clicks on visible objects in games). But what I've been _wanting_ to do
all
along, and never figured out, is the _exact region_ covered by the
non-white
areas of the PICT.
