>AND HOW DO I REGISTER THOESE 4 LETTER Finder codes >online??? Matt there's a new FB FAQsheet called 'spit and polish' that'll be sent out for peer review Sunday night. It covers this point (and a lot of others). If you can wait, you are the first volunteer for reviewing it. (others can contact privately) (hey - these new neural connections allow one to work one hell of a lot faster :-) jonathan >Hi there everyone, well I am a MacOS lover and I was wondering if there is a >www site that has the history of MacOS from say version 1.0 to current (was >there a version 1?) Yep - there was probably even a version zero. I remember that my first Mac was a version 1.x Finder, as for the System I can't remember. Even tho I've still got the floppies, I'm not sure if they'd still work on a Mac (I've got my 128 - it sits under the table, but as it upgraded to Plus, I'm not sure the original System disks'd work) PS: I've also got the original MacWrite and MacDraw, and here in France we had an audio cassette that 'explained' how to use the Mac. You slipped in a floppy called 'guided tour', listened to the audio cassette on a walkman and the 2 were synchrone to explain clicking, dragging, double-clicking... nostalgia). ------------------------------------------------------------- !
