Hello everybody! I have good news. I have finished a rather substantial music library that works with Futurebasic! Its called MIDWorld and it let's you play Midi files thru Quicktime with very simple functions. It uses no globals at all, which makes it quite easy to bring into existing projects. It comes with a utility that turns Quicktime files into resources, so you can turn alll your music into resources and store them all in one file. MIDWorld will handle all of the details, such as volume, temporary files, babysiting Quicktime, etc. All you have to know are 6 easy calls. Well I made a page that explains it all a lot better.
