Hi gang:

I need to know what "Microsoft DIB (BMP) bitmap format" is. Does anyone
have any information regarding these critters? If so, please help.

All I know is that the DIB characteristics are: 1 plane, 16 colors
(4bit/pixel), uncompressed, solid colors only in a RGB color table.

I really need to know more specific information (hopefully with code or
detailed documentation).
